This was Neuralink. Musk gave a press conference in which he made all kinds of claims that it would do things like improve your memory and be able to upload skills like in the Matrix etc. Of course, none of this matches with what we know about the integrated nature of brain systems and their embodied nature in physical motor systems.

Seriously well-timed given the script was written and started filming last year, I was watching it wondering how they managed to nail Musk's reputation collapse more than a year ahead of it actually happening. I guess a solid dose of fortune given they'd basically sketched every Silicon Valley stereotype.
