If god exists, would you worship him?

As said above, I think they have different concepts of 'god' - a different nature, a different revelation, a different wish etc - hence a different God for each.

Various religions claim to believe in the same God. Who am I as a non-believer to have any thoughts about those beliefs.

As said above, I think they have different concepts of 'god' - a different nature, a different revelation, a different wish etc - hence a different God for each.

But jews, muslims and christians all believe that God revealed himself through the prophets of the Old Testament.

They differ as to the "final" revelation, of course.

As said above, I don't think they have different concepts of 'god', hence a different God for each.

Assuming you are in the UK, you have the same Prime Minister as all other British citizens, right? And yet many of them will disagree with you about what our relationship to her should be. They will disagree about what her character is. They will disagree about what her motivations are. They all have the same PM though.

Theresa May, sadly, isn't just a concept/literary figure

You said that they all have different concepts of God's revelation. Not true.

So Christians and Muslims believe that eg god revealed and Oral Torah to Moses?

You do know that the Koran asserts that what God revealed to Moses is different to what is written in the Old Testament

So are you saying that god in the Koran is different from god in the Old Testament? But that both those gods revealed stuff to a bloke called Moses?

And that christians believe that yet another god gave the stuff to a bloke called Moses?

er - Muslims believe that God revealed guidance to Jews and Christians, then the same guidance later on to the Prophet when some of the first groups strayed from that guidance.

Indeed, and believe that the Jewish/Christian accounts of revelation are not just errant but fraudulent; and Jews/xtians believe that the Muslim account is untrue, as do they dispute each other's account of revelation.

1st point the god of the Old Testament has a eternal covenenant with Israel, but the god of the Koran does not. For example.

2nd point: In (normative) Judaism the belief is that a god who cannot beget gave a teaching to Moses that came with both a written and unwritten component, and without the intention of it being superceded. In (normative) Christianity the belief is that a god who can beget, gave Moses a teaching that only contained a written component, and which was to be superceded

So nothing. But we're having a discussion about whether or not jews, muslims and christians have the same god.
And how does your comment support the idea that Jews/xtians/Muslims believe in the same god, or square with the fact that many Jews/xtians/Muslims don't believe that they all worship the same god

Also worth mentioning that Jews havent always believed in the existence of a singular, universal god.

Yep. They switched all their allegiances to Yahweh, the war-mongering god who encouraged them to beat the crap out of the other tribes to get to their "promised land".
Presumably the same god that drowned all life on earth apart from a drunken 900 year old man and 7 other incestuous family members.

I've never met any Jew or Muslim that believes their god to be a trinity. Met some 'interesting' street preachers who believe eg Jews worship the devil.
How about : they all agree that they worship the same god but disagree on the details as to what that God is actually like, who it has spoken to and who is the best prophet?
