ghana totally screwed that up, played most of the match with one more player and couldn't make it count.

Too cautious up front except when it came to shooting from distance, and too inexperienced at the back. Should have been able to put the Aussies away and didn't. They'll need to get their head together before playing Germany. Maybe Appiah back in midfield, so that at least they start with somebody capable of controlling a game.

Why on earth did the Ghanaians not try and move the ball down the flanks? They've got some pacy technical players, but there was just no nous and guile. Balls. Would've liked to see them win that one.

Exactly, they needed to use the wings, thay didn't have anyone who could run at players. Missed oppportunity for Ghana.
