After how they qualified, i was hoping France would do badly. I was hoping they'd play like shit and fail to qualify from the group. I thought, given the quality of the players in their squad, that hoping for THAT was optimistic. But really, Administrators of Karma, you are spoiling us. No, really, this is too much. It was only an understandable red card for those that really haven't a clue. There has not been one endorsement of the red card on TV. There was no foul at all.

For a start, please understand what "understandable" means - whilst the red card was debateable, one should be able to recognize that the ref (who after all had a perfect view of it) could have easily come to the conclusion that what Gourcuff did, even if it wasnt intentional, was clearly dangerous. He ran five to ten yards towards the ball and put his arm out in front of him when he jumped. That arm then connected full on with Sibaya's head and laid him out.
One can only hope of course that an Arsenal player gets taken out in a similar manner during the coming season, so we can all hear your hypocritical whines at the injustice of it all.
