my irish friend thought the french were ufairly treated by the ref. he said that some of the decisions showed a total bias towards favouring the Mexicans and that maybe he should have worn a mexican shirt. a couple of key decisions went against the French which had they been correctly ruled on would have meant a deserved French victory.

I wouldn't . They don't really get on , just because of the central/south american thing does not mean they would play out a draw , both teams will most likely love to win and knoick the other out of the tournament . I'd put your money ona Uruguay win , the mexican defence hasn't really been tested and Uruguay are probably more capable of scoring . All my world cup predictions have been wrong so far though so you may be better off ignoring this advice
