Apart from the fact that the chances of a reboot of any all-time great series several decades later being anything other than utter shit and a stain on the original are always going to be extremely slim, I don’t want the 2023 vintage cuntbucket John Cleese is to spoil my enjoyment of the original series.

If he had any decisively dodgy views by then, at least he had the common decency to keep them to himself, and I am determined to continue enjoying rewatches of Fawlty Towers and separate his younger self from the twat he is nowadays.

Battlestar Galactica is about the only one that springs to mind for me, it was far superior than the original 1970's one which was basically a cheapo star wars rip off. Ironically one of the best characters in it was Tom Zalek played by Richard Hatch who played the original Apollo Adama by showing the acting range of a table from IKEA.
