A 22-year-old man from Bath has been charged with 12 terror offences.

Andrew Dymock, of Weymouth Street, was arrested on Wednesday (December 4) following an investigation by counter-terror police into suspected terrorism online.

He will appear before Westminster Magistrates Court today (December 5), a spokesperson for Counter Terrorism Policing North East said.

The charges include five offences of encouraging terrorism.

He has also been charged with four offences of disseminating terrorist publications, two counts of terrorist fundraising, and one count of possessing material that is of use to a terrorist.

Avon and Somerset Constabulary supported the probe by Counter Terrorism Policing North East.

The investigation is understood to be linked to the groups Sonnenkrieg Division and System Resistance Network.

He lives in a ok bit of Bath (there are some 'dodgy areas!) just off the London Road. Not far from a pub I go to when I'm down there.

Makes a change for it not to be on the big cities though - suppose there will be wrong 'uns everywhere. Surprised at Bath though - I always imagine it as incredibly posh and well off.

Happen to us all. Guy my mate played poker with got scooped up as an ISIS terrorist. He was released sharpish though. My mate takes the credit as they were discussing fireworks over email.

I'll hold my hands up and admit that I completely thought the article was talking about an islamisist and became slightly confused when 'right wing terrorism was mentioned....and then starting thinking that perhaps Islamic extremism could be equated with right wing extremism because of views on gender and sexuality etc......but then I was like how would that work when the right wing is racist....so can't be in the same camp as 180° ... mind drifting.....mmmmm this coffee is good.....
I'm very tired and in the bath.
But yeah....maybe think more and say less....apologies
