As is obvious, I’m a Max fan. But I wish he’d won the race and championship by beating Hamilton cleanly and clearly on track. There shouldn’t be all this spoiled child behaviour by any of them. It damages the sport.

So, there you have it. In modern F1 the rule book is entirely arbitrary, what matters more is the entertainment narrative. In other words, the final veneer of it being a sport has gone, and it’s now the WWE, in cars.
