England: Nations League 2020/21

This is shite. No left sided width, and about 30 yards between midfield and attack. The front 3 are only getting touches when they drop deep, back to goal.

Play a left back ffs. Chilwell, Shaw, Rose, Sessegnon, Brandon Williams from Man Utd.
At half time, take off a centre back and bring on Grealish. Someone who can take the ball under pressure, turn and get the front 3 playing towards goal.

There's at least one person there but he's cramped out by the rest of the stop them playing plan. It's ridiculous - trying new stuff, yes, all for it. THREE Defensive MF. That can'r be the plan.

All 3 centre backs are quite good at bringing the ball out and playing from the back, so they're sharing the part of the pitch with the defensive midfielders and it's too cramped. This game is crying out for either Loftus-Cheek as a ball carrier or Harry Winks.

TAA is the best of the lot by a mile. Only Conor Coady in the entire squad plays in a back 3 regularly, don't see the point personally.

I agree that they won't play a back three, because doing so with a front three (Sancho-Kane-Sterling probably) seems a bit too attacking, especially without a grinder in midfield.

Can't wait for kick off. Nothing like an international friendly during a pandemic when both sides are resting (those that are not dropped for partying) key players.

Should be a thriller

Interesting starting line up. Hope they can make the most of it, but the conditions aren't exactly suited to it.

I jest, but I hope it's a good match. Yes, it's a friendly with second-string players 3 days before a competitive double header, but it's England v Wales, that's gotta be worth something!
