Looking at the wall chart this morning it really should be said, what a good result that was for England last night. It remains to be seen if its done any damage to the atmosphere in the camp, but fucking hell its really opened up for England.

Of the 4 South American sides left, only the weakest one is on our side of the draw. Its really only Spain I would expect to lose to and they've been no great shakes so far.

We'll fuck it all up of course, almost certainly in the next round. Then end up watching fucking Sweden in the final or something.

Croatia and Spain probably look the most dangerous, I think Colombia could easily pull something off if we don't show up at our best, and Sweden have contributed to knocking Germany out of the World Cup and stopping Netherlands and Italy from even getting here.

Oh I know, none of them are mugs. Its just that when you look at the other side of the draw suddenly Sweden or Switzerland seems less daunting. Croatia and Spain will be a cracker of a game, assuming it happens.
