eBay etiquette question (aka am I being weird)

here they are, does this look like £51 worth of unwanted pots?
I'm just going to brazen it out, unless keith looks crestfallen.

thats what ebay is for isn't it, stuff you don't want at all that someone else really does want, i'm just not a regular seller so it feels weird.
If someone bid 50 quid for that lot I'd take it. They bid for them and there was someone else who only bid about a quid less so people see some value in them.

You're certainly not ripping him off.

Yes it does look like £51 worth. Pots like that from garden centres can cost £10-20 each ..

Put £10 as starting price. Auction ended today & somebody ‘won’ at £51.
I think that’s too much money for the not very beautiful pots and feel awkward about it like he’s going to be sad or pissed off when he comes to get them.
Do I just act normal like here’s yr pots give me the £51 or do I say something, like idk I’d be happy with £30 they’re not that great are they.
?
If he turns up in a gold Mercedes, medallions and Hawaiian suntan you might feel differently.

I made a killing a couple of years ago - 70 mixed glazed and unglazed pots for £80 from the local auction, including three or four huge ones with chinese designs. I were chuffed I were :) A couple you'd have paid £80 each for new.
plant pot world is weird isn't it. I suppose its cos they're so heavy & fragile at the same time, and its an old fashioned skill, their making, so they're a thing that amazon doesn't really do very well with.

I would pay £51 for the pots & if you buy anything you pay the price that you are happy with.

Last week I bought a second hand unit on FB Marketplace, person selling said they wouldn’t hold due to time wasters & it was few days before I could collect so on day I could I messaged for second time & that I could come straight away or anytime same day. He went for straight away & knocked a fiver off for not being a time waster. Unit is also perfect for what I need it for.

Pot's ain't cheap. That doesn't seem too unreasonable for that lot

What is a unit?

Wouldn't it be hilarious if your pots turn up on this thread at some point?

£51 is a good price for them. Don't haggle yourself down. Did you buy these pots yourself or aquire them some other way? Just wondering why you feel they're worth less than they are
