I may have said this before, but does Audi maketh the dickhead or does the dickhead chooseth the Audi?
symbiotic something or other, also applies to other well known fossil fuel and electric powered brands and probably/possibly the same humansI may have said this before, but does Audi maketh the dickhead or does the dickhead chooseth the Audi?
it's MY road not (the collective) YOURSHad some audi dickhead tailgating me all the way to work yesterday. So close I couldn't even see his number plate in my mirror, never mind tyres and tarmac. I slowed right down but this fuckwit just wasn't getting it.
I will never understand what the point of tailgating is supposed to be. It's just pure main character syndrome I guess, an eye-bulging refusal to accept the fact that other people use the roads.
Her journey would probably be quicker running than by car.Surely she doesn’t need a car if she can run so fast
Not exactly a picture of innocence.29 points in total, blimey. What do you get points for other than speeding? Being in a box junction?
This is a bit more of a story connected to that stop and search.
There is much here which doesn't add up
Bianca Williams banned from driving and given 18 penalty points
The British sprinter said the six-month driving ban could dash her Olympic hopes.www.bbc.co.uk

Their is lies the nub of the issue. I have 11 points already, if I get more I'll get a ban. If I don't tell the police who was driving I'll get to keep my licence. Not.Running red lights. Using a phone at the wheel. Bullshitting that you don't know who was driving your car when it got caught speeding.
I see.Running red lights. Using a phone at the wheel. Bullshitting that you don't know who was driving your car when it got caught speeding.
Speed, attract the attention of the police, Jump a red light, stop in a box junction then when they stop you have a bald tyre.Whatever happened to receiving an automatic driving ban on 12 points? How can people rack up more than 12 at any one time?

Hoofs a load of coke, drives at >50% the speed limit, kills a 10 year old girl. Whilst on bail for that gets caught drink-driving TWICE. 12 years prison, out in 6 which is when a 9 year driving ban will start. If ever there was a case for a lifetime ban, surely...
bloody deer .... they are wholesale dangerous ... all spindly legs where your bumpers / crumple zones are, and then the bulky torso is right at the level of the windscreen .I had a lucky escape yesterday.
I was driving on an A road in the forest and approaching a junction driving at perhaps 50mph in good daylight. All of a sudden I saw a female deer and two offspring run out from the left, right in front of me. I went to brake but I was so close to them it couldn't help. One of the baby deers turned back and the other two continued across the road just fast enough for me to miss them.
I did get a foot on the brakes but even so I went past the point where they were before I had significantly slowed.
I know people who only go 40 in the forest just for this reason to give themselves a better chance of avoiding the wildlife. I think I might join them.
Yeh with the exception proved, which isn't all that hard, people get away with being on the road with a lot of points, 68 was the highest I found in a quick searchIt's never been automatic. If you can convince the court that a ban would cause "exceptional hardship", they have the discretion to allow you to keep your licence. There are law firms that specialise in getting dickheads off bans.

There are 46 motorists on UK roads with more than 30 POINTS
With drivers supposed to face bans once they accumulate 12 points, it means some have been given special dispensation to keep their licence despite totting up enough to lose it 2.5 times over.www.thisismoney.co.uk
I would imagine once you get the exception, they know that license isn't getting taken away so they don't care. Then something like a parking fine becomes just a fee, so if you can afford it who cares. Could rack up huge amounts parking wherever the hell you want all the time and just paying the fine offTo get that many points you have to drive like a lunatic all the fucking time, surely it's only a matter of time before the kill.

Fair enough my experience was getting 3 points for going over a 40 by a college at 3am 20 years ago. Replace parking with speeding and it works the same.Parking fines don't get you points, points are for doing shit that is dangerous; speeding, running red lights, pissing about on facebook etc.
