The entire front panel has come off quite neatly. Not sure if that’s a clever design feature for easily interchangeable panels, or a worrying sign of the build quality of Citroen cars…

I think it's more of a feedback loop. Although they've done studies where they got people to drive expensive cars and within a very short space of time their driving became more aggressive and their attitude to other road users got worse.

It's quite possible a small animal ran across the path of the first car....difficult to tell from that footage, which as proven, you don't do.

I've had some dickhead cut in front and 'brake check' me before at 60mph on the dual carriageway. It was punishment for me not instantly moving over from the outside line when he came up behind me at about 90 flashing his lights. This was early morning, pissing rain, bad visibility. Could've easily caused a pile up like that.

looks like there is some sort of spill and possibly something overturned in the fast lane ahead of the car at the front, so probably not "no reason" and braking distances are a thing
