No but we are forced to see the picture representing the video which is often bad enough

No one is crying about it just pointing out that it is largely clickbait and posting such is frowned up, especially with no view or content from the poster

The irony of complaining about a Trump video being posted in a Trump thread, and whining that it's off topic or shouldn't be posted.

Relevent pictures, videos, tweets, and an array of things are that are on the topic, are just that. Forms of stuff, in and on the topic. It even came with words.

Whining about your opinion of not liking it, is off topic and not really on Trump.

Do you walk down the street and shout your opinion on various things you see, or shout people down in meetings if you happen to not like a certain thing they say?

I'm not the one crying about someone posting videos I don't like.

For what it's worth, I don't care for all that long-winded video stuff either but I'm not whining about it. Some videos are absolutely fine but I can usually tell within seconds that I can't be arsed to watch one but that's my choice. It doesn't give me licence to tell anyone else not to post it or watch it. I get it that some people find videos easier to cope with than text narratives - I'm not one of those people but if I had visual impairment or dyslexia, I might very well prefer to watch videos than struggle with online articles.

You'll get used to the inconsistencies, hypocrisy, contrarianism and partisanship in a decade or so.

I am afraid I have to admit Trump out worked Harris. Where she would do one rally Trump would do three and like a steamroller he just didn't stop. Despite his advancing age. And I think he has a much more developed political thinking than he is given credit for. All his playing with names, slogans (MAGA etc) his "working" a day in Macdonalds, or driving a garbage truck, in response to the Harris campaign, they were memorable skits.

Could the outcome have been different if Harris had been on the campaign from the start, rather than starting when Biden stepped aside, I am not at all sure. And the polls that were against Trump were wrong on the night, on the only poll that actually matters. Trump didn't slow in response to bad polling, perhaps Trump had his own polls, perhaps they knew not to trust the national polls. Whatever, Trump won quite easily in the end.
