Do you mind if I smoke? R.I.P. Fenella Fielding

RIP

I still remember the first time I saw Carry on Screaming. I was about 10 and loved it.

She once starred with Kenneth Williams in a comedy revue written by Harold Pinter and Peter Cook.

Leslie Philips is still around. And June Whitfield.

Fenella Fielding had the most magnificently sexy presence. Not just the voice, the look, the knowing smile. RIP

don't forget Barbara Windsor!

I saw Leslie Philips in about 2005, in a railway station. We went around using his "Well hello" catch phrase for the rest of the day.

oh, and my exes gt grand mother used to work for Hattie Jaques and John Le Mesurier.

Just been reading the BBC obituary - can't post link from my phone - interesting, she had quite a difficult relationship with her parents who didn't approve of anything she wanted to do, she studied Art at St Martin's for a while until they forced her to leave :(
