He said it was because he was turning 50, and he worked out how much time he had left and how many records that would mean and he thought it was just too few. So he's working like a maniac while he still can. While still keeping to strict office hours of course. :D

Good on him!

Out on Monday!

Amazon have the ltd edition with book for £12.45 delivered.

Sounds really really good - much more rocky than Lyre but not as mental as the Grinderman stuff.

I've got it

it's ace. Really dirty and noisy, quite experimental in places, lots of organ and lots of weirdness

i've never knowingly heard and nick cave and the bad seeds stuff. but i should really i suppose. but where should i start?

I suspect in years to come, he'll be the one we look back on and go, "yeh, I always knew he was going to be a stayer"

The whole album is tedious!

If any ones interested he's supposed to be in lurking in Rough Trade on Monday 3rd.

Nope he's signed an exclusive deal with HMV and O2 so he's just lurking. However he may not turn up at all and there's no times either!!! All very weird.

A bit like Johnny Hallyday. But sooner or later he's going to run out of bible, and what then?
