Diane Abbott suspended as Labour MP.

OK. You have to be trolling because no one ca be this stupid. The right defines itself by its bigotry and lack of tolerance.
That's simply not true and it's so easy to prove, because if you list examples of "right wing intolerances", if I didn't hold such interolant views, would that make me left wing as opposed to right?

It's only the person who is being intolerant, not everyone who is being right wing, or right wing values.

That being true, the right doesn't define itself by bigotry and lack of tolerance.

See this looks like there could be a moment of clarity in there, given enough time, but don't be fooled. He's just so convinced he's correct about whatever it is he thinks he's saying that he literally can't grasp the idea that he's muddled his concepts of left-wing and right-wing politics to the point of incoherence. But that won't stop him from replying to you in the most self-satisfied fashion possible. Honestly there is no debating with him, he doesn't grow or improve - he's still saying the same ignorant drivel he was when he started.

What's your opinion on the Constance Marten and Mark Gordon case?

Mate I'm not having an argument, I mentioned tanning in the specific context of skin lightening. 'Colourism' takes many forms.
The fact tans can be considered a class issue in some certain circumstances is not relevant to this discussion - we are talking about racist discrimination here.
The fact in some very particular instances its possible to consider aspects of skin tone politics of tans in relation to class does not negate the dominant hierarchy of racisms that predominantly surrounds colourism, other than that "race" is a "classification" that then structurally can take on an economic class position
To say "what about tans" comes across to me as being deaf to that

I've given that a lot of thought. I read that thread while I was on a one month ban.

I've heard interesting arguments coming from the same kind of people who believe in David Icke. Generally such people are harmless, but as interesting as their views are I disagree with them as people should be registering births. How far the state should go to enforce that, I haven't given much thought to.

One reason why people don't register births (amongst others) is because they never intended to be in the UK and they want their child to benefit from the citizenship of their own country ... and besides they might have reservations about the UK.

I know one Irish Republican family that didn't register their baby in the UK, but instead done God knows what in Ireland to ensure their boy is 100% Irish.

Of course the baby comes first. But there's always going to be new situations and scenarios that get people thinking "Fuck, this one isn't that simple."

In my case, I would register the baby. There is no reason that I can think of not to.

I suspect you are asking me the question to establish whether I am a "Sovereign Citizen".

I've already had that debate on here. Citizens as a collective, as a whole being sovereign, is different from an individual thinking they are sovereign.

One is the idea that as a collective, the state serves us, not us serving the state ... while the other, is that the individual is seperate from the state.

I do not stand seperately to the state, because for now at least, I need the state, we all do.

The probable difference between you and I, is that I seek for a smaller state, less involved in people's lives, while you probably do not. That is at the heart of my beliefs.

Wow you're really helping me "grow" and "improve" with that one. /s

I think you posted on it quite a lot too.
I only know about it because someone on the thread dragged my name into it. I searched for "StakerOne" in my absence.

Anyway, I don't hold those views. I don't even have children, it's not subject matter I can possibily get worked up about as serious as it is. It doesn't directly affect me, a childless, fully grown adult.

You're a tad confused between registering a birth and notification of an unassisted birth. But I'd hate to think that might knock your confidence in any way.
It's not subject matter that I'm confident in. I admit that. Someone asked me for my views, I gave an honest answer.

Cant be arsed to wade through the mire that the thread descended into but I found this decision by Starmer of interest .

Racism against Travellers/Roma is far too fucking acceptable in this country and Europe in general. I remember a previous employer would send us email alerts if any turned up in the local area. If anyone did the same about black or Asian folks, they'd be rightfully crucified.

It's Black with a capital B.

Thanks for putting it back on course a bit! Though fucking hell that's a grim little story, I wonder if Stam-dram was ever a genuinely decent sort or if it was all about the career building even from that early.
Prob was and us a genuinely decent sort tbh albeit limited . However I feel that a challenge to the threshold he applies here is legitimate . Ok there may be ways to chastise / sanction that behaviour ( in conjunction with some community cohesion work by the council ) of the organisers without prosecution and without making martyrs . However he doesn’t do that , just closes the book .

My local paper follows the poor sods around and does daily updates from wherever they pitch. If it was done to an individual it'd almost certainly qualify as stalking.
I would say this country has a lot more to overcome on this subject.

I've been holding an interest mobile motor homes or the "Van life" as some people may call it.

Even just rocking up in a van on your own will attract the wrath of some people, if they notice.

In the UK we have a culture of being really pissed off with any kind of mobile home owners pitching up anywhere they're not paying for that privilege.

I'm sure there's all sorts of racism and prejudice against the travelling community, but my point is that's not the only thing the country has to overcome. Culturally, people seem to hate others parking up somewhere for free overnight and living in their vehicle etc ... I just don't get that attitude.
