Detail your latest clothes and slap related purchases here #2

so, i bought a big stack of stuff in the collectif 40% off sale, and some of it is going to have to go back because it's too big, or will be really soon. the pencil dresses and skirt are fine because they've a seam on each side and I can pin them and take them in, but the 'doll' (flared, fifties style) dresses would be a a PITA to alter.

I bought the dresses in size 16 and 14. the 16 doll dress is far too big, but the pencil dress is fine. the 14s are doll dresses and they're the right size now, but are a bit baggy on the waist and will only look worse when i've lost another 2.5 stone. I think they're all going to have to go back. No point having bargains if they won't fit me in a month or two's time. *sigh*
That's kind of a good problem to have, though, frustrating as it is.

so i'm keeping:

sorry for having to send stuff back, but fucking *LIKE* for baggy 14s :D

I'm down to one bra again. damn peacocks frequent breakages. but I came into some money due to christmas so I ordered 3 off brastop. And now I can't find them again to post pics. :D

I've stocked up my pyjama drawer on my annual "January sales" shopping trip:
2 grey nursing vests from mothercare
A pair of jasper conran caramel coloured pyjama bottoms with a patterned top which I really like but the boy said makes me look like a 50 year old version of me in a pant suit ?!
Dark blue ted baker pyjama trousers.
A light blue Jc pyjama vest top
2 pairs of pyjama trousers from tesco's and 2 button front pyjama tops from there too.

I now have to muster some resolve to get out of bed. This is made extra hard by the fact I have nothing to wear once I do...

Love that cape Sheo

Had a bit of a sales splurge yesterday and today. Can't find any pics but have bought:
  • Pair of skinny blue cords
  • Boxy baggy red, grey, black jumper
  • Short green 60s style frock
  • Leaf hair band
  • Pair of brown lace up ankle boots
  • 2 pairs tights - 1 fishnet/1 sheer black with heart pattern on then
  • Pair of patent black ballet pumps
  • Pair of ridiculous frilly knickers
  • 3 pairs of spotty socks
Total cost less than £70  All from New Look/Hennes/M&S :)

I bought 3 rings and a bracelet and beads from evans.

Then I got 4 pairs of thermal socks, 2 pairs of knee high socks, some pink mittens, a pink wooly snood, a cream cotton scarf with bunnies on, some hair bobbles, a hair donut thing for up-do's and a lint roller. All for the grand total of £13.

Thank god for Primark. : D

Got some new jeans in the Debenhams sale for a tenner, perfect fit for once. And an orange sweatshirt as well. I hate orange normally but it is really soft and comfortable, so I am prepared to overlook it.

Ordered a few more bits and pieces but they haven't come yet.

I saw some coats in the Dorothy Perkins sale I'm interested in. They're still quite pricey though, will they go down any further, sales veterans?
