I do love those suspender tights, but I have some similar, and tights like that do get a LOT of unwanted attention :D

Had a splurge in Uniqlo...3 lambswool jumpers, 13 quid each!!!! some thermal socks, another thermal top, some cords (meant to be for work but looked good with the shoes I had on so they aren't for work now  ) and a nice jacket; kinda wax cotttony/Barbour style but a little different and with £80 off :) yay

Oooh is there some kind of sale on? Sounds like a good haul!

Bob, you have pretty feet. :)

My yellow shoes just arrived! They are so cute, and they fit perfectly. I can't believe I'd lived here so long without knowing how to shop online, or that I could even buy shoes in my size, made to order!

found a nice harris tweed blazer for a couple of quid on the market this morning. haven't had the opportunity for a proper mirror preen yet, so i dunno how it fits, might be a bit big...

Just went shopping with my work friend and occasional urbanite Scarlette/MillyMolly.

I had some M&S vouchers so bought this for work / funeral i'm going to on wednesday (plus some gloves and some seamed tights) edit - the seamed tights are not for the funeral. That would be weird:

But the main events were two rewards for the last two stome i'e lost, so I bought this purse, which is just gorgeous and capacious and beautifully made:

and these shoes, which I wasn't specifically planning to get, but which were reduced from £305 to £91 in Harvey Nichols. They're by Lanvin, and look much, much nicer on:

I bought an ace new cycling jacket... It's windproof, waterproof, not too heavy, black but very reflecty and just right - very happy cycle home in the rain tonight  :)

Losing weight is expensive - I have so many clothes, and I can't afford to replace them all! I have six pairs of jeans that are too big, and I have bought one pair in replacement.

At least handbags and shoes always fit.

That purse and the Lanvin shoes are fabulous. I even like the M&S frock which surprises me because I've never come across a frock in M&S that I'd want buy.

Charity shops until your weight stabilises, or get things adjusted :)

Yeah, that's what I've been doing - and eBay as well. Got some black cords from the charity shop and a couple of coats from eBay.

Spring/summer will be worse though as I will need a new cycle jacket and lots of shorts, and you don't tend to see them in charity shops.

it is hard. i'm mostly buying stuff that i know goes really well on ebay, so i can sell it on when i shrink out of it. I started at a size 24 and the M&S dress i bought today was a generous size 16. Reckon I'll be a 14 when I get to my goal, so i'll have a lot of stuff to sell.
