Detail your latest clothes and slap related purchases here #2

I've just bought a shirt that looks a bit like this:

One slight worry, I'm not sure my stomach naturally suits tight shirts.

what does a normal bride look like? Froofy? :D What colour is it at least?

I'm wearing black and red, the groom is wearing white, his choice and I really wasn't bothered enough about it to argue. It is froofy, the skirt is black tulle (about 65 yards  ) it's been slashed and knotted in random places and I've sewn tiny metalic roses and some organza flowers amongst the layers of tulle. I like it but I know not everyone will :D

It sounds ace! I hope you at least post a pic after the event. Is the corset your top then? not long to go eh?

I will post a pic after, getting hitched on the 23rd of July. The corset has a centre front and back panel in red on black gothic type brocade with black sides and lined with a black lace trim. I made a black veil, it's a lot of black but atleast I don't have to worry about keeping a white dress clean, I'd never be able to! :D

Attempting to get a new pair of DM's to go with, but might settle for a replacement pair of army boots.

10. They're out of stock right now.

Edit: They're definitely a summer purchase zenie, in a field with my boots off and the straps undone. And then I can get hammered, paint my face with glue, stick cotton wool on and be Seasick Steve

A vintage dress in grey and white stripes. It's very sweet. I am such a failure as I really don't need anything at all atm - can't seem to help myself.:facepalm:

First DM purchase in 10 years, my old ones are still good - just steel capped and not great for pubs and town centres.

Best shirt ever, Gap via charity shop. Sort of red, olive green and white tartan, long for tucking into a skirt, pussy cat bow option (but will wear ties in a knot so they hang down a bit like a tie). Three quarter length sleeves. Sort of sexy secretary gets a degree in geopolitics. I'm in love :)

would be interested to know how they compare - i've heard bad reports of the far east made DMs (your old ones are probably still made in england), so i'd be interested if the heritage brand adds any value
