I like the 2nd one myself :)

Nice shades too!

I love e&f so much, but just can't click order for a £50+ dress, some weird inbuilt oversensible wiring :(

£40 with the discount, which is the same as the pearl lowe ones ;) i rarely buy more than 1 or 2 things at retail price per season, the rest is all ebay/sale/tkmaxx. (this would count as full retail, not sure even i could stretch to 50 for a cotton dress)

those are gorgeous! I might need you as a personal shopper bob :hmm:

just how well would they go with that second dress? :sigh: any time :)

I can't do £40 either  :(

too much pattern, would go great with a dotty or non-patterned dress though :)

Oliver Bonas makes me snigger

My last purchase was a pair of maternity jeans off ebay, for £1.04. We are skint but I have no maternity clothes and an ever-growing bump.

I want this dress but they've only got it in a size 16 and I broke at the moment anyway. :(

If we're on the subject of dresses we want but can't have, I am very aggravated that this doesn't come in my size, although tbf £85 is far too much and the colour probably wouldn't suit me anyway:

Bought a grey waxed Maine jacket from Debenhams but it looks so dull I am taking it back.

Ordered some Gortex Merrells from Amazon for £34, reduced from £80.

Got a lovely dress from Tesco but it's very cleavage revealing, so I need to get a camisole to go underneath.

Got some purple skinny next jeans from the charity shop for £2. Will drying them on the radiator make them shrink any or does that not work anymore??

*want* but HOW MUCH  ?!

(its NEW apparently)

Laura Ashley have got some lovely frocks this season, but they're well pricey. Actually, I'm noticing now that lots of clothes have gone up quite a bit - a combination of the rise in VAT and the rising cost of cotton, I suppose. M&S have got loads of stuff that's around £70-80.

I got two vintage dresses today - one is a seventies maxi in that French toile de jouy print. The other is late fifties I think in a beautiful floral print. It's a "midi" I believe.

hot tumbling might work but radiator wouldn't ime - i used to dry everything on the radiators with no noticeable shrinkage.

i need a shopping intervention

my quest for red wedges turned up these

and i have to admit my trusty merrells after about 5 years need replacing too so i'm pinning my "walking sandals" hopes on these
