my dresses came. i don't have the boobs for the spotty one which is a shame cos it's even nicer in the flesh, it's pleated at the front not gathered, more of a tulip shaped skirt and it has slanty pockets with big buttons. maybe it's a size thing (they say a M is a 10 but i reckon 12) but it's handy cos i'll be screwed if i don't send one of them back and i love the black one it's super cute and smart but not too smart all at the same time. i might not be able to take it off today, like when you used to wear your new shoes home...

After the time I bought 2 (same size & brand but different styles) and the band on one just couldn't stretch far enough, it's something I'd definitely want to try on before buying.

This just came through thanks to some lovely help in my dress for a wedding nightmare thread.

It's beautiful! Fits really nicely and hides bumpy bits due to fit under boobs and material.
Only thing is, I look about 4 months pregnant

Cor that biker jacket is lovely, you will look gorge in those colours QoG! I really want a tartan biker jacket and matching skirt, but a) can't seem to find them b) shouldn't be buying clothes anyway. (oh and thanks I had managed to forget kates clothing site )

I did get some brand new faith wedges (who have closed all their shops is that right?? must have missed the memo on that one!) from the car boot yesterday, and my sis gave me some new green and black DM's, a bottle of chanel no 5 eau de parfum and a bottle of No 5 pure parfum.

would this blouse work with high waisted trousers/skirts? (it's the one s&s got, but you can see the seams clearer on this pic)

i've been bitten by things with an underbust seam before, thinking they'll work with a high waist and they don't they just look odd. failing that anyone seen any nice vintagey looking blouses anywhere that don't have that seam?

Oh bum, I failed to realise the underbust factor. Hopefully my shirt won't look too shit when it arrives and fits my lovely rack of doom properly. I have a love/hate relationship with button up shirts.

actually, can you let me know if it does fit you well s&s cos if it does that guarantees it won't fit me! i'm normally a fan of those seams for wearing untucked which is how i wear them with jeans, but i'm looking for something to wear tucked into high-waist trousers/skirts in particular and there's something about having the waist and bust seam so close together that can look odd ime.
