Oh that's really kind of you! I'll pm you with a pic cos it's an unusual arrangement where it fixes onto the bead part, it doesn't have a ring, more a sort of cup and that's what's come off. Seems to be held on with thread and that's what has broken.

Gorgeous dress. Royal is too bright for that palette. No paintbox tones. A bit softer. What the fashionistas call "gelato colours". Like 1950s interiors.

My first thought was yellow but after reading spanglechick I can see a pale dusky blue working whereas I don’t think I would have before.

I'd go for the red ones...but I love red and they look lovely.
The others are probably easier to walk in and will match other outfits.
Which do you love?

From what I have looked at so far these are both my faves. The nude type ones I’m more likely to wear again. I’m thinking to order them first & if not right go with the others or similar to them. Plus the walking in them!

I think the red ones would go better with the dress, but nude will go with everything, so go with what's pulling you.

I use weddings to buy things I normally wouldn't - dependant on how much I like them.

Yes I mostly think the red go better with the dress too. The red ones are way more expensive too which is another reason for trying the others.

I've got a few more things on the list such as new black birks, new specs that I feel confident and hot in so I don't have to wear my contacts every day and eventually a new coat.
