Detail your latest clothes and slap related purchases here #2

Just had a nice (ex-hire) stone-coloured suit delivered, to wear for a relative's wedding - Prince Edward jacket, so I'll have to practice my "double Windsor" knot.

I bought this and it is silly gorgeous and it has pockets!

which might mean I need to get some more sedate bras as they're definitely on show.

so I bought make up instead.

Finally saved up nearly £100 in cashback, so drew it down onto a voucher card that made it just over £100.

Bought myself some summer workwear in M&S, so tried on various summery trousers (for warm days and cold air con), but these were nicest on. Also got boat-neck navy t-shirt to go with it (and some other things). Going to spend rest on some more summer work tops and maybe some jewellery.

I have Hogwarts PJs from primark and they make me very happy.

I also have five dresses from lindybop to come. All under a tenner in the sale. £46 including delivery I am going to be fifties-tastic.

I've bought some linen.

Plain black linen cardigan for functional layering in this weirdly warm weather we're having - nowt spesh.

And I bought a linen black and white checked shirt. Thing is, I ordered the size that I *know* fits me and it feels a bit like a tent on. Is linen meant to be a looser fit? I know it's summer clothes and they tend to fit looser anyway, but this definitely feels a bit big.

Is it worth ordering a size down or just accept that it's meant to be loose and accept it or realise it's not for me?

Clothes companies are bastards and do not all use a standard size. I'm a size 8 or an XS in some shops and a 10 or a S or even an M in others.
It's all the same company though! I bought a shirt from them a few weeks ago that fits perfectly, and so does the cardie. They're both the same size as the linen shirt. They make them themselves, too, so it's not just different manufacturers...well, I guess it could be.
