I seem to really be struggling to find clothes for myself lately, every time I try to go out and have a look I see lots of things for the kids (or for Fed!) but nothing I like.

I bought some shit. I might say properly if it fits when it turns up. A green dress tho and I've never worked out what greens suit me.

Lots of stuff in the sales, including a winter white silk dress (reduced to £50 from £300), a tweedy forties number (£60 down from £200), some tan high heeled boots (£39 down from £120), a couple of chunky knits and some leopard print flats (half price). Also a flowery dress from H&M which I tried to resist but failed.

Various sales items: two cardigans and two skirts from Boden, all of which except one pale pink cardigan (http://www.boden.co.uk/en-GB/Cleara...s-Cashmere-Cropped-Cardigan.html?NavGroupID=6 ) are going back as too small, also a jumper dress and a mohairy lacey shrug from Monsoon.

And some vintage (shudder) wool/silk high waisted sort of hareemy draped paperbag trousers. They sound awful but they're wicked and they hang really well and come to a particularly nice place on my legs (few inches above ankle). I don't need to justify myself to you k both from a charity shop. Might wear them together

I bet you'd spend it on wool to knit some jumpers though, even though you might have a whole flock of sheeps worth of wool tucked away at home

I've just ordered some black wool/linen trousers and a black extra fine long sleeved tee shirt from Toast sale but they will go straight back if they are as shitty fabric as the last couple of things I've ordered from Toast.

Incidentally based on my last order from Boden I'm revising my opinion of them upwards slightly. Although everything was too small, it was actually mostly quite nice quality.

a plain black dress with some detail around the bust and fluted sleeves. have been after a nice plain black dress for a while and this one fits the bill nicely hurrah, have hated looking for clothes to buy recently as there is *nothing* i like int shops.
