Detail your latest clothes and slap related purchases here #2

Leopard print shorts, which are comfortable but the waistline is extremely unflattering at the moment;
black leggings, which are okay apart form being 4-6" (yes really) too long;
cotton jersey chemise/slip dress in 3 sizes, all of which fit but in different ways (the XL is okay (and just about long enough for daywear without leggings, the L is better as a tunic top, and M is probably best worn to be removed).

I have a :cool::mad::confused: thing with H&M's sizing of anything stretchy.

New 'at! A straw cloche :cool:

Some boring, black jersey dresses and a blue t shirt. I went in for jeans :facepalm:

I am not supposed to be spending money. But I got a 50% off at figleaves email, and then a money off coupon at liberty, and I did need* some new smalls and, um, yet another scarf.

I think I need that cat necklace in my life...

h&m sizing is utterly bonkers. I bought a couple of their jersey basics maxi dresses recently and my usual size was much too big, but then the next size up in a pair of culottes barely fit...

The cat necklace is ace :D

I've just got a brilliant haul from the local YMCA shop. Mid-calf length flattish brown leather boots with furry cuff (for winter, obv), a brand new pair of daft fluffy sheep slippers (complete with sheep heads on the toes :cool:), a beautiful silk scarf (got into wearing scarves a lot at work) that's black and white with a weird but wonderful pattern on it, a pair of slippers for the fella, and a pair of Next corduroy kecks - sand-coloured, quite flary, with a lace-up opening rather than zip. Could well do for a work them with a decent shirt over the top! :thumbs:

That's nice!!

Edit: Oooh, they do larger sizes too, just as I'm starting to look for clothes for a wedding!

They do :) In fact it's worth sizing up as they come up small (I had to go a size bigger cos of boobs).

The quality is really good and the dress is lined as well. The skirt's a bit fuller than the pic shows.

Oh heavens! I didn't see the plus sizes...

Is the fabric shiny/satiny in real life, colacubes -? Or is it just the way the print looks? I quite fancy the less blue version for work.

Also - would you say they come up small against a standard size? or small compared to the measurements on their own size chart?

It is quite shiny (it's polyester so not terribly satiny in feel!). That said I also ordered a pinkish one to try and it wasn't quite so shiny so it may just be the blue. Re sizing, I didn't check their sizing chart, but as I'd previously tried on one of their frocks and ended with squashed boobs I ordered my size and next one up online to try on. I ended with size above. TBH it's more that there's not much give in the fabric. I managed to get the one in my size zipped up to just below my boobs and the fit was fine, it just wouldn't go above there.
