both from H&M. I really like the printed treggings, despite the stupid name - the print is lovely, they pull in my waist-lard quite well and are pretty comfy - but they ride down in the back every time I so much as nod  And the pink ones are a gorgeous colour, much duskier than the picture suggests, but so skimpily cut in the waist. I fucking hate low waist jeans and trousers, they are frustrating and unflattering to the muffin-topped among us (i.e. me).

So the pink ones are going back, the print ones I am undecided on, and I continue my search for stylish, flattering trousers that actually come up to my belly button or higher.

I went for a binge in tkmaxx. 2 max studio jersey dresses for holiday, a navy linen top with ethnic-y embroidery round the neck, a linen striped shirt, navy silk shirt, three black vests and a black scoop neck tshirt.

I got a 100ml bottle of bright orange Crazy Colour which I'm gonna do a test with this weekend.

How many applications for short/medium hair will 100ml do, do you think? I'm thinking it might be two at a push but dunno.

Should do way more than 2! Crazy colour is the stuff from Sallys in the pink bottle aye(few yrs since I last bought any). I used to use it for the bit below my ears and I only bought it every so often, think my pony tail is way longer than your hair is it not?

Summer bag

New trainers. I thought they were just rip-off Converse, which was fine, but it turns out they're Shanghai Warriors, and have an illustrious shoemaking history, which is nice. :)

They have Chinese characters on the back too.

And finally, a new travel bag, of a sensible size, with zips. It's only taken me nearly ten years of flying back and forth to realise that I need a sensible bag which actually closes.

Well having done it at the weekend, I reckon there's probably only one more application in it! Maybe I used too much but I don't think so. It didn't come out bright orange but that's okay - it livened up my fading dye no end, and looked fucking ace tbh. Proper bright!

found these shoes at the charity shop - made by one of the northampton shoemakers (they are identical in construction to some much smaller crocket & jones i found in the same shop a few years ago). they're lovely anyway - the aged leather has an incredible tone to it. :)

Would you mind popping over to FB as wolfie is desperate for someone to discuss his new jeans with? Also he has a spare pair of brogues he doesn't want :)

I bought a lovely Jigsaw pink floral frock off ebay. It was a size 10. I'm a size 10. It was 2 bloody inches too small around my ribs  Every other Jigsaw item I own is a size 10 and plenty big enough

Not a purchase, but made out like a bandit at a clothes swap:

Vintage ;) M&S, 100% lambswool

Lovely.

I would love a tweed (is it tweed?) jacket but being the size I am I would so look like one of The Two Fat Ladies :D

It is indeed! I had a tweed harrington (with suede elbow patches *sigh* I loved that coat) when I was a size 20 and I don't think I looked like one of the two dead fat ladies :hmm:
