Detail your latest clothes and slap related purchases here #2

I've managed to buy a completely useless floor length 1930s silk A-line cheongsam style dress. Just to top off the "I will never actually wear this" it is sleeveless. But it fits so I had to get it.
I can relate to this - I have dresses which I have never worn because I don't get to go to dressy up things any more.

Maybe we could start a posh frock meet up group where we bring glamour to unglamorous places.

I just moaned earlier that I have bought 4 dresses in the last year that are lovely but I have had no chance to wear. I wholly approve of this idea.

One thing I can't complain about in murica is the price of trainers. $19 new and delivered from filadirect on eBay. Thats just over £11. Bargain. And I thought Sports Direct weren't bad.

I got a 100ml bottle of bright orange Crazy Colour which I'm gonna do a test with this weekend.

How many applications for short/medium hair will 100ml do, do you think? I'm thinking it might be two at a push but dunno.

I was thinking the Anerley Arms....

Actually, I'm not really sure where is 'glamorous' these days - perhaps that's why the dresses remain in the wardrobe.

I'm not sure either but I'm pretty sure it's not the Anerley Arms...:D

although I suppose we could glam it up.

Oh, other frock news is that I ordered two in my normal size from Lindy Bop thanks to the link that Manter posted earlier, and they were both much too small.

Grr! I hope you're going to tell them how far their sizes were out?

I got given a bag full of stuff from my mum's colleague's daughter to go through yesterday before it went to the charity shop. Nothing I'd ever buy for myself, but I tried a few things on and they looked alright so I've managed to expand my wardrobe a bit. I'm also having nice dress problems now - when the fuck am I going to wear this?!

That's great frock.Wear wherever you want to :D

ooh.... ASOS huh? shit.. I must stop buying dresses!

I did get a brand new dress yesterday that I rather like for £3.50 in the charity shop. It was only a tenner from Primark in the first place but nice to get something I like for so little.

I'm not sure if this is going to cause more issues but ASOS has a code for 20% off all sale items. I'm a filthy enabler :D

I do keep getting these emails from them.. there was a sale earlier this week where I stopped myself buying a coat for next winter. Which probably wasn't the worst idea to be fair but I must stop spending money on this stuff. I've sent gaijinboy back to the charity shop for another dress I saw. As i said above - I dno't actually have any opportunity to wear these things so it Has To Stop!

Did not even attempt to resist when Desigual came up on Secret Sales. And have been wanting a potentially 'dressy' short sleeve top anyway. <snip>
Perfect for your colouring and proportions.

I hope so... I must say, historically that draped sleeve thing often hasn't worked as well as I'd imagined it would on me, but I think the proportions are probably right for this one.
