Found a shop that had the shoes in my size but still too narrow so bought the clogs:

Am justifying this on the grounds that they look good with trousers, which the ones I already have don't which is why I don't wear them.

i bought a plain black shirt, some plain black trousers, a black belt and a short black trench coat.

cor, i bet that looks good. i do like a man all in black.

and a woman come to think of it.

i bought myself a black cardi from peacocks recently, but that's about it. last of the big spenders me.

A black jacket from tiger of sweden. Just under three quarter length with buckles and stuff. Avoided buying a new suit as I wasn't sure I liked the light grey colour.

I was shopping for black beads for a fancy dress party and cheapest I could was £3.50 which I thought was a rip off till I saw the £10 ones in Oasis. Anyway I changed my mind and bought a black art deco esk butterfly pendant instead as Im more likely to wear that again for £4.

Also bought a nice lil fake leather (pleather ?) bag from Peacocks and a brown striped short sleeved cardi and a black belt from New Look.

I brought a rather ace black t-shirt the other day, which has the album cover of 'Dark side of the moon' on it except instead of the triangluar prism refracting light, it's Darth Vader's head.

I iz teh geek.

Not only have I actually found something I really liked in the shops  but it's a dress   which is unheard of because my top and bottom halves are different sizes and dresses never fit me unless stretchy. It's a great black and white cotton prom dress type thing from New Look. Boned bodice, sticky out skirt etc. Unfortunately strapless - I've never been convinced by strapless bras so am putting ribbon straps onto it which will be the work of a moment.

Now all I need is a posh date/garden party/wedding to go to in June or thereabouts and I'm sorted.

Actually I could even wear it as a stage outfit, except that it'd be a bit Rachel Unthank.

I have been on a shopping binge in south-east Asia.

I got three silk-satin shift dresses in gorgeous colours/patterns, a gold silk-satin dress which is very Marilyn Monroe (god knows when I'll wear it), a green and white flowery skirt (with another one coming in the post, hopefully), two bags and a black silk scarf with gold silk flowers sown onto it.

you do realise that you're going to slide straight onto the floor whenever you sit down in that kit?

To cheer myself up I bought myself two half price dresses from Peacocks. Two dresses (which are cool) for nine pounds each. Brilliant! One is a brown short sleeved wrap dress with white spots.

The other is a kind of pretend wrap style, if you know what I mean, in black with red flowers and a wide red belt. I love them both, especially the red and black which makes me have great cleavage, somehow. ;) Am going to have to wear a vest underneath it for modesty at work. Rats!
