Crafty Thread - what are you working on at the moment?

Cheers Bob, I'm getting slightly better but a very long way to go

Pottery showdown had a better first season (thought I'd hate it, watched it in Feb and loved it, but just not feeling the second series so much)

i always swore the one thing i wouldn't try was pottery :D i couldn't have the nerves or patience to last the process. the enamelling work i'm doing atm is basically pottery but over minutes not days :thumbs :

necklaces in the making :)

Those are very nice stamps indeed.

Got this back yesterday, I'm not happy with its design but my wife loves it to bits (she seems taken with my pottery far more than even I am, made some ugly test tiles and she's put em on window!)

The colours are rather fab though, the iron in the clay works really well with the glaze.

My mind is doing cartwheels, the fact I can't see the pic hasn't helped :D

Don't know why you can't see the pic, but it's a necklace made of 8 Barbie hands of various colours, each mounted in a silver cap, strung on a chain.

I blame the tech geeks at work. They tell us they are updating the software at the end of each month...all that happens is everything doesn't work properly for the next few days, including access to images...bloody mytherers

I can see your necklace now....lovely and very unusual, a bracelet of hands appeals to me also :)
It makes me think of the 'Ice truck killer' in Dexter :D

she’s seen stones that were made from boat paint and appliance paint, though they don’t have the same mystique as true motor agate
mystique :D

reminds me of something i saw in an exhibition: the dude's dad used the same stick to stir paint for many years, he cut it in half and it had hundreds of layers :)
