COYFI West Ham United 2017/18

Winston and Creswell both unlikely. Arnie and Ginge in contention. No other team outside the top five have secured more points than us in the last seven games.
Looks like like a stone cold draw this one.

So 0-2.

I think a point would be decent.

Only six on the bench.
And noble and Lanzini playing with injuries. :D why do we have this every single year?

I don't know why we have 6 on the bench. Surely we could stick martinez or somebody on there to make up the numbers?

I noticed how busy it was at the Shrewsbury game and saw later we had just under 40,000.
Shrewsbury in the cup, and it was a cold old night believe me.
I just checked our home attendances.

Bigger crowds than Citeh, Liverpool,Chels*a, Newcastle(best supporters in the land!) and all the rest.
Only Manu, spurs and Arsenal have bigger home crowds.
Not too shabby for a struggling relegation side.

Arsenal don`t turn out they just use STs sold as a bum on seat . Our cup game at the Emirates was half empty but showed attendance of 45 k I think all clubs do it but Arsenal seem to be the worst culprit in fudging attendance figures . Those Gunners that do go are very polite and clap their team in all the right places , a few of them even get out of their seats when they score .

To be fair to Shrewsbury, they showed good support on a weekday, 3 or 4 thousand.

You're right though, we played Middlesboro years back, the ground was half empty and I remember the attendance in the paper was ridiculous.

Bobby Moore was a Charlton fan.

Hahaha. Have you seen the team?

6 defenders. Noble, Kouyate and Mario in midfield. Hernandez leading the line on his own.

Nobody on the bench over 20 years of age apart from Fonte, who is coming back from a long injury.

Should be a fun night.

....and not forgetting Antonio out for being a lazy fucker. Not the first time he's turned up late either for a team meeting either.
At least Moyes stuck to his guns and dropped him.

I also thought Swansea were dead and buried a few weeks back:eek:

Yeah just goes to show what a couple of wins does. We're still only 4 pts off the drop.

Antonio is weird. He's built his whole career on working hard. Forcing his way up from non-league by getting his head down. Out of anybody in the squad I would have thought that he would appreciate the value of it. He's obviously changed his opinion. Like you say, good on Moyes.

Game was a bit meh... but Mario looked like quality last night , strong and comfortable on the ball , with Arnie and Lanzini and hopefully Antonio back they should provide some entertainment .

You massively parked the bus last night, which i can't blame you for given your injuries list. 2nd half was a none event. Looked like a gentlemans agreement to take a point and neither side risk more injuries.

Zabaleta had a good game for you

Agree and sadly I have to say at this point in the season that a point was probably an ok result for us both , 10th but only 4 points off a relegation spot . Brighton on Saturday . I was fearful that Zaha might rip us apart but our make do back line did ok , you get 100 % from Zabs every game but he can commit too early sometimes and get to look stupid .

All those little stands near the entrance to the seats have been serving beer for ages, well in the Trevor Brooking stand they have.

Well I'm glad we sorted the squad problems out this window. Finally.

So far we've shipped out Sakho, Oxford, Makasi and probably Ayew.

And brought in Mario and a striker from Preston North End.

They've got to be selling up. There's no other explanation. We had 5 Academy players on the bench last night.

Reece Burke as well.

Good, fuck'em.

It's fucking bonkers. And now "somebody" has leaked emails from Tony Henry to the fucking Mail where he talks about not wanting African players cos they "cause too much mayhem". Quite apart from the massive racism it seems like that's Sullivan leaking that cos whoever the mystery person is they specified that the two recipients on the email should stay anonymous! Nice diversion to leak that at 10:30 on deadline day.

Palace apparently deliberately delayed a player so that we didn't have time to sign him, even though they couldn't either.

And we didn't sign Slimani cos Leicester had some massive argument and wouldn't deal with us.

Just unbelievable. What a bunch of absolute fucking jokers.

The only reason I'm still awake is so I can witness the righteous anger on twitter when they announce Jordan Hugill. It's going to be hilarious.
