Coronavirus Haircuts

Hairdresser couldn't goo me up cos corona but I had a quick go with gel when I got back. I HATE my natural hair colour. It's so bastard boring. The bleach is going on today or tomorrow to get shot of it. Apparently 3 months without a haircut has thrown me into a rebellion craving of short sides, long back and a pointy bit :D We'll see how I get on with it.

Still growing mine, and it has also reached a stage that I really like! It won't last more than a week though, never does.

Yours looks ace Mogden
Mine wasn't too irritating on the front as my hairdresser had chopped it right back at last cut and it didn't seem to grow much but the back sprouted like a bastard lawn. My head feels lighter.

Yours always looks good sojourner , especially the colour.

I got mine done at the barber for the first time since lockdown this morning. Two back and sides, four on top. All done in well under ten minutes.

Getting mine cut tomorrow, first time since about January. It's not too bad right now, mostly just annoying flicky bits at the back and top that won't lie down properly.

Got fed up and shaved my armpits yesterday as I don't know when I'm going to next be able to get to a salon. I don't feel comfortable being in close proximity with anyone indoors at the moment, I've had it but feel quite anxious about catching something else as I've got a history of respiratory problems and bad reactions to illnesses and don't think my lungs are 100% back to normal.

I am doing nana duty at the moment so it wasn't a good idea to mention haircuts in front of 9 year old granddaughter...who insisted she must do it. Love clearly blinded me to the consequences but is not performing the same myopic miracle now I am confronted with the result. Anyone recall Slade? Specifically Dave Hill. Yes, I already have the mullet (my own dismal effort) but now I have the one inch fringe too. 'I could see where you were pointing nana, but I just found myself cutting a bit (a bit!) above it' Pics to follow - just need 24 hours to overcome the shock and work up to full disclosure.

Here you go. There is at least a month of looking like a fucking gonk as I am not spending £££ for my hairdresser to scoff and wag her admonishing finger (as if I couldn't see for myself, the folly of letting children loose with scissors). Ah, just noticed the sticker behind my head - the remaining evidence of one of the offspring. That and the hole resulting from some teenage fists of fury.

Still going.

Im going to keep this until either I can stand at a bar, or I can have a haircut without all the masks and stuff.

So.

I've gone through the lovechild of Rylan Clarke-Neale and Ant Middleton stage.

I've gone through the Captain Haddock from TinTin stage.

I've kinda swerved the Russian Tsar/Rasputin stage

Im now on the "had a minor hit in an Eastern European County in the Eighties and have been living off the royalties since then but have always thought about getting the band together.

Which is this

Next is probably ZZTop stage only to be beaten by" Forrest Gump after he's run across America stage. "

After that there's nowhere to go apart from Captain Caveman. Let's hope this shit is over before then, eh.

Was anyone on the cusp of next trim at the point of lockdown? I shall probably be getting the clippers out in the nest week.....

I was originally planning to go to the barber just before lockdown re-started, but in the end never got round to it.

I'm toying with the idea of just leaving my hair to grow until it's all over now...

Finally made peace with my hair.

Probably cos I've got an actual haircut booked for the 21st
Of course! It always looks best just before you get it cut.
I am having the exact same thing May Kasahara . I am one week to getting a cut and although it still resembles the bushes in my garden, it's pretty much righted itself (for my hair). Maybe hairdressers are just part of the capitalist plot.

This
Is so true.
My hair always looks great the days before a haircut.

I cut it myself during the first lockdown. Gave myself what's caller a unicorn cut....but I have not touched it since then. It's now quite long and as its curly it is even longer than it looks. I'm dying it too with Olia. Great stuff and cheap as chips.
I'm thinking of not cutting it til next March. It looks a lot nicer than it ever did when a hairdresser did it.
😁

I was just rooting through my purse to find something or other when I found the little card my hairdresser uses to write my appointments on. Last time I was there was 15th of February, my next appointment was 28th of March and there was another one there for there for April 18th.

Seeing as I spend about fifty quid every six weeks at my hairdresser and I've not been there since February and he's booked up for December, I will have inadvertently saved a few hundred quid by the time I get back in there, sometime in 2021.
If I go back.
Quite like the lockdown look. If Sideshow Bob had've had a baby with a badger fifty years ago, that'd be me now.
Wild. :D

I decided to do mine a lot shorter. Quite pleased really. Did an undercut at the back to reduce the volume. Straightened out to check how even it is, so don't know what it's like curly yet.

Got mine done last week, should last a bit which is lucky because my efforts with my trimmer were awful.

I feel for my barber because he had only just managed to get some business back after the first shutdown when everyone bought their own clippers. Looks like he will have to start from zero again.

I was very pleased when he opened, 5 minutes with him or between a half hour and an hour myself with multitudes of mirror checks .. and an awful result, there is just no comparison.
