Coronavirus Haircuts

Mine is back to the straggling rattail look...but a fetching shade of purple (and blue, pink, grey). Hat and hood wearing set fair for at least another month, so that's OK. My offspring though! Both boys are sporting insane curly mops and mad beards (even though I am a doting mother, I am appalled). The youngest especially looks awfully like some Daesh escapee. He comes home for lunch so is invariably filthy, in tattered, black workwear...it's hard to recognise my tender-hearted lovely lad (he would consent to hold my hand till he was 10 or so, unlike my other 2 who wouldn't even walk on the same pavement by then).

I did mine again yesterday, and I think I'm getting better at it. I live alone and so am not able to independently substantiate this (I may have errantly carved a swastika into the back of my head). Nonetheless I'm getting more confident with it.

I see that hairdressers in Wales can reopen from this Saturday, whereas those in England will be closed for another few weeks until 12th April.

I hope none of you more westerly based English Urbs will be contemplating a trip over the border for a shampoo and trim or a short back and sides this weekend.

I had the backs and sides cut recently with clippers, but the top is now so long it just flops down over the cut bit.

It's almost long enough to gather together and put in the dreaded man-bun, so I'll have to see if I reach that stage before April 12th...

I've seen a lot of teenagers recently with short back and sides, but with a long fringe over their faces, JAMC-style. You could go for that.

Son needs a trim, but honestly we'll wait another fortnight now.... we have a barber at the top of our road and the queue's gonna go down the street when they can open. When they reopened last summer they just stuck a load of (distanced) chairs outside - may send son to sit on a chair and yell at us when he's near the front (it's a about 10m from our door)

Daughter booked into pricey salon for 15th, but she needs a proper recut by someone who knows what they're doing.

I booked myself an appointment to get a cut today. My first in 18 months +. How nervous. Reminds of the time I went for colouring or perms
Will I get there or will I chicken out?

Just as importantly, will you post before and after photos?
