I have now watched the available episodes (it turns out they’re saving the finale for later). Whereas it is not bad per se, unfortunately it is the weakest season by far for me. Some of the subplots, in particular the grownups thinking kids are suddenly too chummy and need to fight each other to re-spark their competing edge, feels to me completely at odds to what LaRusso has been trying to teach throughout the entire series .

Great fighting by the main kid characters, though.

Getting wrapped up in competition before finally remembering the true meaning of karate.
