The worst aspect of Lampards tenure was the defensive aspects , especially the transition, that and Arrizabalaga's loss of form. However, he got the team to 4th place and an FA Cup final ,not only in the first season without Hazard but also with a transfer ban. He brought in 8 youth players including Reece James, Tammy Abrahams and Mason Mount. Hes not top level but the players will be satisfied with him, he's generally popular with fans and buys the board some time to sort out the permanent appointment.

I don't know if I've mentioned that time when we let Carlton Cole leave cos we thought we were going to get a top class striker and then we had to take back Carlton Cole three months later when we hadn't signed a top class striker and Carlton Cole had done no training and eaten a lot of doughnuts in the meantime.
