Cardiff City 2014-2015

From Twitter....
On 5 Live last night LMA Vice President Lawrie McMenemy said Mackay was 'wrong' but 'deserves support' + morally he's got all our support. He also said that Richard Bevan will be there to help him back on the straight and narrow.

One of the tweets underneath says... "And that is why nothing is changing"
Full clip here..

I think the LMA need to hire a new PR firm. They're not covering themselves in glory atm

What I don't understand about this story is Moody's home being raided, who raided it? Cardiff City lawyers? It wasn't a police matter was it?
So, not defending Malky/Moody , they have been caught out, reading around this, Cardiff Lawyers got a high court order to raid Moody's gaff, and then were able to get all this stuff , on the positive side, they out Malky as a racist/homophobe, but this was an employment dispute? Malky was involved in legal action against Cardiff, they get a court order to raid a house? If I lost my job and then took legal action, could my old bosses get a court order and raid my house? Something fishy here.

How is this embarrassment for Cardiff?

Embarrassment for Malky yes, Cardiff surely only come out of it with credit!

It's more farce coming out of the club though and Malky was Cardiff manager when it happened. People now associate Cardiff with bad news, internal strife, a ludicrous chairman, and racist/homophobic text messages.

Do you think people are going to think "good old Cardiff" after this?

Over the top investigation for an employment dispute, obtaining a court order to raid someone's house, luckily for Cardiff what they found has overshadowed how they found it

Cardiff represents all that's wrong with modern football and it's doubly embarrassing when you look at the continuing success of Swansea who have done juts about everything right.

fresh allegations and room for redemption
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/28910805
Kick It Out trustee Garth Crooks, speaking on the BBC's Football Focus, expects Mackay to receive a fine and a ban if the Football Association, which is investigating claims of misconduct, find him guilty.

However, Crooks does not feel it would warrant Mackay being exiled from the game completely.

He said: "There has to be room for redemption. This is about education. We are keen for managers, players and coaches who fall from grace in this area to understand what is acceptable in a working environment."

Crooks also criticised the League Managers' Association over their initial statement, in which they described Mackay's text messages as "banter".

"A few managers are quite upset about the way the LMA has handled the issue," added the former Stoke City and Tottenham striker. "The statement was pretty poor. You don't defend the indefensible."

Like going into administration and taking local suppliers for thousands! Nice.

It's just occurred to me that I don't know a single Cardiff result from this season.
My how things have changed.

I think most still think of the fans they've met from Cardiff rather than the managers and owners they haven't.

Met a Swansea coach driver in Friday. A bit of banter about washing the bluebird to get a swan but otherwise we were old pals who'd never met before.

No one has tried to wind me up about the Malky business.

So Tan patiently waits for five months to spill the beans on Malky, just to cause him maximum hurt?

They're as bad each other and a disgrace to Cardiff.

team changer.
Yep. And proud of it. I got out when corporate forces and modern football money had changed the club into something I nether recognised nor wanted to be part of.
So now I support a local football team, and actively help promote them in the local community.

How about you? Been to many games of 'your' team recently?

lol!
how graceless is it to not only stab your former club and fans in the back but then come onto a cardiff thread and announce how little you care of their results?
i'm here to discuss last saturdays match with cardiff fans. wouldn't you be better engaged in the dulwich sub forum? instead of trolling cardiff?

I see you're still avoiding those tricky questions. :D

Now shush your silly noise and get back to your TV set and let us real football fans continue the banter about the teams we actually get off our arses to support.

PS Don't forget to keep your remote control charged up!

And 6 points off the drop zone.

So the correct phrase wouldn't be shocking then would it. More like a middling start.

We lost a lot of our top players and didn't really set the transfer window alight. So I never expected us to stroll into instant championship dominance.

Medal was really the only player that elevated us beyond mediocre.
