:D

i find with reggae my tastes change over time, so i expect i'll keep hold of it for now. they only seem to go for 20-30 a pop anyway (run come anyway - no listing on popsike for posse move, which may mean it's mega expensive i guess)

Junior Chin - Posse Move/ in the Dancehall Tonight
Junior Chin - Run Come
Twinkle Brothers - Underground

80's digital is the rising market in reggae collecting at the moment, though tbh a lot of it sounds as crap to me now as it did then. I find those Tubbys twelves on Y & D especially hit and miss, but I know some rate them highly :D;). Run Come goes for a score though, nice find.

That Twinkles 12" is alright, not quite the furious stepper of some other similar dated releases though.

You might too, glad I bought it when it came out 'cos I wouldn't pay that for it now.

it's the album rather than the 12. Nice chilled roots. Shaka plays bass on it.

Another 80s digital 12, this time taxman's fatal attraction, on stush records. Starting to warm to the sound too...

First two are old friends, every reggae fan should own them. That Trojan comp is quite hard to find, worth it for the immortal Cuss Cuss, and a couple of nice Belltones tracks. You probably should have left the Eddy Grant there :D

Eddy grant is ace, fool. There's a weird disco instrumental on the flip too, which is mainly what I got it for.
the Trojan comp is great, if a bit beat up. I'll pick up any Trojan Lps from that era when I find 'em - guranteed to be a few winners...

I was driving down to Devon once, and forced to listen to Radio 2 I think it was - they had a half hour feature on Eddy Grant. Dont remember much about it, other than that he is a very very rich man. There was something about a disco track (maybe the one you mention) being the first ever something or other, and some kind of suing /sample case...can anyone remember what im going on about?
