Oh, you're being way too restrictive, you'll miss some of the best ones if you just go with those rules. Americans in general do some crackingly good daft names. While I can understand the whole Texan penchant for names from history, I reckon Bucephalus should have stayed the name of Alexander the Great's horse. You try keeping a poker-straight face when you get introduced to that one in a meeting. And I get that Moroni delivered his message to Joseph Smith, but as a kid's name it just doesn't travel well out of Utah really.

So, just to recap, yes there are lots of names out there that would probably make me chuckle. Of course, if you want to be particularly po-faced you could try and claim that it's racist behaviour, but I'd have to contend that it's just me being juvenile.

my own ideas i've posted above (so that nobody starts pointing fingers) but:

she attacked a driver while at the wheel of a bus. we can all figure out the possible consequences of that. so why are people making excuses for her? if she had a shit day and maybe had reason to (feel upset after a shit day/be a dick), maybe he'd had a shit day and had reason to (feel upset after a shit day/be a dick)? since we're playing the 'maybe' game, maybe this wasn't the first harassment directed against him, even that day? maybe he'd come to see himself as a target?

my father didn't talk much about bus driving but he did indicate that it took quite a bit of emotional control. he had it, almost all drivers have it, it's in the job description. but you don't be such a cunt that you lash out like that against a civil servant who has the lives of the public in his hands, you just don't. neither do you leave your post to deliver a uppercut to a passenger.

I didn't see a single person doing that. I did see people pointing out that this 59 year old's action were mental despite her being well out of order. Not a thing defending her. Maybe i missed one - over to you.

Unlike this incident, the Scottish train one didn't have a happy ending - Here the obnoxious person was banjo'd and put to the floor by the very person she was hassling, whereas the kid on the train was, unfortunately, far too small to be physically capable of banjoing the fat obnoxious prick who was hassling him.
