Burger Thread. Yes!

Just searched the thread as Chemistry is currently at kerb getting me a http://www.kerbfood.com/traders/mother-flipper/ burger. It does come on a plate tho so he's having BBQ and then shoving it in the box from that.

A few weeks back I got dragged to breakfast club in hoxton/shoreditch by some workmates, and had an okish cheese burger (but nothing amazing):

Also I have just got back from Motherflipper in brockley market (which was pretty bloody good):

Sorry for the poor pic, there wasn’t any free tables so I took a picture with phone in one hand and burger in other! It is a pic of the bacon swiss.

I'd say my top 5 london burgers at the moment is:
1. Patty & Bun
2. Burger Bear
3. Dirty Burger
4. Lucky Chip (in Netil Market)/Motherflipper
5. MeatMarket

As I've got some free London Midland train passes and I have never been to Birmingham before I'm thinking of going up there on a burger hunt. Does anyone have anywhere they can recommend?

Bbq weather

Sadly the one I just had was decidedly average. Wish my garden wasn't on a main road so I could show how it should be done.

Burgers for tea tonight
Aldi Scottish beef quarterpounders, seeded buns, sliced smoked cheese, red onion, perhaps a little relish of some sort.
I'm going to make some coleslaw too.

So here it is
DSCF8951.JPG

From the top: romaine lettuce, smoked cheese, red onion (raw), burger. This is the 'spare' one that me and the bloke shared and has tomato sauce underneath the burger, the one I made for myself originally had tomato, apple & chilli chutney instead of the tommy sauce.

Burgers were good and juicy, rolls (Aldi seeded burger rolls) were better than expected.

Typing that has made my mouth water, I could it eat it again now

Will have to look a bit harder next time I'm in Aldi. I'm often underwhelmed by their selection of bread to put burgers in, but may have overlooked the most obvious of buying burger rolls.

They weren't too sweet (which cheap rolls can be) and they held together really well.

I was saying to the bloke earlier that I'd like to go to one of the Buddies American restaurants that are dotted around Northampton to check out their burgers. Have you ever been?
