Got some Tiger Rolls for a bit of change...that and they were the largest ones going.
Tiger or Giraffe rolls?

I think I missed the method about keeping the strands in the same direction. How do you do it?
from about 9:45 in this.
but its probably worth watching it all
Tiger or Giraffe rolls?
In other burger news I have just been told we are off to the local Wetherspoons now for lunch.....
Got people coming round tonight, so I'm loading the fryer with fresh oil for proper chips and making burgers. Got some Tiger Rolls for a bit of change...that and they were the largest ones going.

I posted his video of the method, above. It was earlier in the thread, apparently a Heston B method. Essentially you form your patties whilst trying to respect the direction the meet strands flow. So if I had bought a pack of mince from the supermarket and the contents looked as per below, I would just pull that gently into 4 quarters (4 people to feed in this house) then just push each quarter into a patty keeping the strands going in the same direction
Just googled Heston Burger and he describes the method here

My all time favourite burger, the Teriyaki burger and here's someone eating one
Went for the 'Original Gourmet' burger deal with a pint of Strongbow for £6.99
6oz burger topped with two bacon slices and a Stilton, Shropshire blue and spring onion sauce. Includes six beer-battered whole onion rings. Three of the onion rings were inside the burger and three were on the plate.
Not my photo ^ nicked from the web for reference.
It was okay.
Good for the price.
Chips were pretty nice but the onion rings were average at best.
Burger was okay, two slices of bacon was a nice touch but the bun let it down I am sorry to say. I did not get the flowery bap pictured above, instead I got a seeded bun which fell apart too easily and seemed a bit 'sweaty' to me
Nice review my man. I've not had a seeded bun at 'Spoons, it's always been the floury one. Tends to fall apart easily with the sauce.
I'm not a fan of blue cheeses either so I tend to go for the gourmet chicken burger with the montery jack cheese sauce which is bloody lovely.
Did you get a pathetic pot of relish that was nowhere near enough and in a useless paper ramekin that fell apart after a few dunks?
I ate one of them a few months ago.I saw this Grizzly one a while back, someone (possibly me?) posted up. Not seen the video before though
£60 is a lot of money for a challenge, you just KNOW you would never finish it
I ate one of them a few months ago.
I am sure I could easily eat two. The third might do me in though.
The bar staff said the challenge has changed slightly now too. They’ll just give you one big burger rather than 3. I can imagine that’s going to make it hard because it’d be harder to know where to start.
It was a good all round burger. Was it good?
I think I could do two but would not enjoy the second one as much as the first

Just had a BK Angry Angus. Was alright. Not that angry really.....
If I'd had time I would have gone to the local Flaming Grill Pub and had a proper burger - the Angrus was nearly as expensive as one of them
£22Quite like the cut of this ones jib...
Ah! That sounds more doable!
Does not sound like much but it takes you by surprise.
Yetman tried it once and can testify to this one.
