Yeah I know. I lived there. The stadiums at this and even the last World Cup seem only to be accessible to middle class cariocas and paulistanos though. Not many will have made the trip to Russia from the North.

I didn't even see the original incident, was at the bar. It was just Neymar going from rubbing his head and then, as soon as the Mexican guy picked up the ball, doing his bonkers rolling around thing. FFS! Apart from a few blips, var has been pretty good imho. I thought though it was supposed to be able to pick up shit like this and punish players retrospectively (Neymar, not the original Mexican player).

I think it was comfortable enough in the end, which just makes the theatricals even more puzzling. Compare and contrast with the likes of Kante for France. If those two meet up in the semis, I'll be cheering on France.
