Should have been today. I've never been a fan of the clamour to sack managers, generally, but he is cluelessSo, you think Emery will go? Sounds to me like it is a case of when rather than if he does. Shame really as I like his approach but he does not seem to be the right fit for top half PL.
Still not got over Pat Jennings. They did not that one go for a while did they?
Quite a lot of Arsenal fans on social media calling for #pochinYou'll see i called it right
tbh i was expecting great things of emery, not necessarily a double in his first season but a stronger transition period while he made the team his own and certainly being nearer the pace this season. not a win in the past 5 games is dire. now, i don't think it's entirely his fault being as he's not out on the pitch and he has done well in europe this term. but if things haven't radically changed, if we're not pressing for top 3 or 4 by the end of the season and we haven't done well in the europa league then much as it pains me to say it perhaps he might be encouraged to find another outlet for his management talentShould have been today. The league and game (top level for sure) have changed and managers are not given time to build the team they want. Feel a bit sad for Emery but the fans want him out and there are obvious issues in the dressing room. Not sure (sorry Pickman's model) that Poch would go to Arse (or any other PL side for that matter) but get the feeling change is coming.tbh i was expecting great things of emery, not necessarily a double in his first season but a stronger transition period while he made the team his own and certainly being nearer the pace this season. not a win in the past 5 games is dire. now, i don't think it's entirely his fault being as he's not out on the pitch and he has done well in europe this term. but if things haven't radically changed, if we're not pressing for top 3 or 4 by the end of the season and we haven't done well in the europa league then much as it pains me to say it perhaps he might be encouraged to find another outlet for his management talent
i want poch to go to grimsby, i reckon he'd take them up to the championship before reaching the level he can't go beyondThe league and game (top level for sure) have changed and managers are not given time to build the team they want. Sniffing around for a clubWhere's Rafa these days?
He's in China.Sniffing around for a club
I read some of the West Ham fans talking about Rafa joining them
#nunoinArsenal have identified Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo as a potential replacement for Unai Emery if the Gunners decide to sack the Spaniard.
Head coach Emery is under pressure after a winless run of six matches across all competitions.
Arsenal have only won four of 13 Premier League games this season.
that's a disappointment because i had high hopes for the club with him in charge. misplaced i now see, but i thought with his experience he'd be a grand successor to wenger. who, sadly, we cannot recall from the wilderness now he's at fifa. but all best wishes to ljungbergThe 'Water is Wet' award for news of the day is:
Unai Emery: Arsenal sack boss after 18 months in charge
I really can't see it.#pochin ?
so pleased poch went first so the spuds got auld moany instead of usI hope they at least think about Poch. Terry Neill made the same switch in the 70s and did well. Arsenal had a good side back then - Brady, O'Leary, Stapleton, Alan Sunderland with his tache and afro.. Malcolm McDonald for a bit.
