Arsenal 2019/20

Chelsea & Arsenal have 'very good deal' over Luiz - Jenas

The former Tottenham and England midfielder added that Arsenal fans will be "singing from the rooftops" following the deal.

What are they singing though ??

I'll give him another chance, to see what emery sees in him

3-1 is not as bad as the normal thrashing at Anfield and it is under the belt now. Even if all results go against us today we will still be top six. Looking for some positives here.
I will certainly settle for 3rd. :)

Now to beat the spuds & it will be a satisfactory August.

ETA If we do half as good as the women's team today I will be more than happy.

Hahaha. The mugabe of arsenal.

Cos they came fourth a few times.
Fifth! Fucking Thursday night footie.
I can live with a few off seasons.
It would be good to get back to a top four finish but I have been fairly lucky that most of my adult life Arsenal have finished above Spurs. I know this cannot go on forever but it was good whilst it lasted. Won a few titles & a good few cups.
There is still hope. I am just glad that I stopped my bet with a spud at the beginning of each season as to who would finish highest. I won about £90 before I felt too much of a cunt to take his money.
Spurs went wrong in the early 90's when they seemed to lack any black players. In spite of being in the 2nd largest black area of London they seemed not able to sign any. I have lived in various parts of north London but the 2 years I spent in Tottenham was an eye opener to how little local support they have. There were a lot more Arsenal shirts seen down Tottenham High Road than Spuds.
Still early on in the season so still all to play for.

Arsenal are without a win in their last 12 Premier League games at Manchester United and have won just three of 27.

All three of those victories were by a 1-0 scoreline and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer played for the Red Devils in all three of those defeats.
