24 Hours in Police Custody

hmm underneath the murder charge was a drug ring (maybe country lines) sort of shit going on seeming the amount of drugs the guy who stabbed the fella was caught with
was not just over some girl as said by someone in the pub

ahh never underestimate how brave a fella can get under the influence of shitty coke and a shorts

but aye .. collapsed completely but still tried to make allowances for the guy who run over the fella in the golf as well
as trying to be smart saying he found the knife after falling on his friggin face

silly boys

yep a pair of silly twats. sad all round again as at least one was clearly from a shit upbringing and just a loser trying to act hard and like a big man having had no father figure. broken home x toxic masculinity x pub grub gear.

hmm not new by the sounds of it

cop who liked hookers and did not think it would catch up with him

Also an old episode!!
C4 did this with Police Custody and some Kevin McCloud programme, billed it as "shown for the first time since it was initially aired" or something,.. err... so a repeat? Very strange. Maybe alluding to the fact it wasn't on catch up before that? Weird attempt to almost bill old stuff as new.

The doctor versus the detective with the Antiques fraud was fucking delicious

My mate (female) keeps shouting on what’s app that I “Need to see the rape doctor episode”

Sounds a bit grim but I can’t find it on 4 catch-up

second part of to catch a copper

wonder if it will answer it only main question "can coppers police themselve"

as the first episode just said "no the bloody well can't"

I just did all three in a row. It’s nauseating viewing

It’s fucking astonishing the “outcomes” it gets to the point where I wonder if the Chief Constable commissioned the TV series out of desperation to shine a light on the issues in her force. It’s not exactly fostering positive relations

Watching the professional media trained/handling high rank coppers minimising and reframing narratives has to be part of the problem.

Filthy

I only watched the first episode, open mouthed. Amazed it was filmed and aired. It just got progressively worse and then ended with them all having no case to answer.

How that sleazy git got paid £180,000 awaiting trial. Listening to him being interviewed, no one believed him. Felt so sorry for the woman , she was right from the start, she knew she wouldn't be believed.

The craziest thing about that was he admitted it! There wasn't even a question of believing the victim.
I can't understand how all that crap about PTSD and she came on to him made any difference at all to whether he commited an offence by driving a member of the public to a isolated spot and having sex with her in his police car.

The second episode is actually worse because none of them believe there is racism in the police force and even the investigators don't really think the officers involved did anything wrong.

I haven't watch any more episodes yet and not sure I want to after the first one. Is there just the three?

Plus he only came up with that as an excuse after she'd reported it and got pulled about it? Why was he even giving her a lift in the first place if he was on duty?

gave up after the second episode where it became more or less clear you can do anything you like as a cop and the results will be we'll have you Sargent give you a quiet word
