That's a fair point. Valerian is a close relative isn't it? I've got some capsules which the other cat goes daft at if she gets one. Not sure it will work with him, but worth a go.

Our two always go out in all weathers as cat business/politics won’t take care of itself. The difference is that they come in a lot sooner than if it’s clement.

She just walked calmly back into our room, so she must have recovered from the shock of seeing her gothic human in pink.
The wind on Saturday, or rather the noise there of, got him spooked, and he went under the bed for most of the day. He's now continued that, even though the weather's quietened down, spending most mornings there. (That blue thing is a sleeping bag I keep under there.)

Lil’ Bob’s vet appointment and steroid injection may have stung us for £100 (our “fun money” for this month) but the difference to him has been worth every penny. His scabs and irritated areas have dramatically calmed down and he’s a contented lad once again. So happy

Last night Beauty came upstairs for a good nebb / wander around [quite an effort for a triped] and a couple of night earlier she had settled down on my lap for a stroke, purring fit to burst {very loudly} and then she dozed off with me playing with fur on her chin & neck.
That's only taken just over a year from virtually feral to a lapcat [via a traumatic operation]
