She's definitely making up for being an indoor cat for 8 months in foster care. Revisiting her feral period. I expect she'll find a balance. She's planning her next mousing expedition!

Even at half 9 with sundown at 7?Looks a bit like she's floating in the night sky against a sea of stars!
Wouldn't mind betting that if the sun has been out at all, the metal of the bonnet remains a bit warmer than the surroundings for a little bit after the sun has gone down.
Cats can detect differences in heat to a nanodegree...
One of my cats was an indoor cat before I had him as his previous owner lived on a busy main road. Once he'd settled in with me and I started to let him go out he went on a killing spree and kept bringing back pigeons and rats.To weigh the corpses of her vanquished prey?
Jakey has been indoor all his life but still when he was younger found ample opportunity for hunting, in a flat in a London block - one weekend he caught 7 mice - he brings them to me as offerings. Live.
This is a limerick I wrote for one of my dear departed cats years ago.As it’s National Poetry Day, here’s my contribution (inspired by a night's sleep rudely interrupted by a certain cat's shenanigans) entitled “Vic is Being Beastly”
Vic is being beastly.
He’s not a wicked cat.
Generally sweet natured
Unless he’s doing “that”.
When I least expect,
He mounts my leg
And starts to bump and grind.
He’s neutered but I still suspect
They left something behind.
I wonder if the Cinnamon Trust might be able to help? They usually foster pets for people who are in hospital but they may be willing to help this poor cat.Can I just leave this here. If anyone knows anyone open to rescuing this kitty.

Thank you. I'll pass that on.I wonder if the Cinnamon Trust might be able to help? They usually foster pets for people who are in hospital but they may be willing to help this poor cat.
But I want these fresh from the shop ones not the exact same ones in packet that has almost run out and the copious amount already in my bowl

Beautiful face.Away for a bit now but can report the car park cat, thanks to a newly constructed fence and cleared hedge brambles, now has a watchtower to observe their domain

Yeh, I soon gave up on the idea of keeping Jocky in at night. When we first left him alone for a few days, we couldn't close the kitchen door cos he wouldn't be able to get in or out for 3 days, and by the time we got back he was used to it. He bloody loves going out at dusk or last thing at night, for a little check around his yard. We do keep the living room door closed which leads to the stairs though, as otherwise he tries to kick the bedroom door down in the night.Crashed out after a hard night's rodent patrol. Why she likes me to hold her back leg is a mystery but there you go.
Sadly I think I'm going to have to keep shutting the door at the top of the stairs routinely now she's trained me to leave the cat flap open at night. She's just too excited to be a restful presence.
I now feel like she was in a state of suspended animation a lot of the time when kept indoors.
I love that tiny sniffing noise she does near the beginning. She's so cute!!!Sound on!
More demands today, evidence of biscuits and other food 2 feet away!
