Your daily cat and kitten news

Looks a bit like she's floating in the night sky against a sea of stars!

Wouldn't mind betting that if the sun has been out at all, the metal of the bonnet remains a bit warmer than the surroundings for a little bit after the sun has gone down.
Cats can detect differences in heat to a nanodegree...
Even at half 9 with sundown at 7?

To weigh the corpses of her vanquished prey? :D

Jakey has been indoor all his life but still when he was younger found ample opportunity for hunting, in a flat in a London block - one weekend he caught 7 mice - he brings them to me as offerings. Live. 😫
One of my cats was an indoor cat before I had him as his previous owner lived on a busy main road. Once he'd settled in with me and I started to let him go out he went on a killing spree and kept bringing back pigeons and rats.

Thankfully, he seems to have given up hunting now he's an old boy but he certainly made up for lost time.
