Ha! Just noticed it was you who posted it too, UnderOpenSky.
I found it so relatable that I bookmarked it under the tag "cats" which I use for useful tips. That's some impressive searching skills.
"Hey, I'm a cat, I'm contrary! Sue me."I know that looks all too well
"Just because we liked it this morning doesn't mean we still like it this evening"
"You weren't there maaan, you were not there!"One of the cats up for adoption from my local Cats Protection. He's 14 weeks old.

Oh A380 has one too.
Such stunning markings
She's a beautiful girl. This is a classic Carrie position. After jumping up onto your lap she rolls over onto her side or back for tummy rubs. And it's not a trap!
My own anxiety is gone now it's clear it's going to work. I nearly fell asleep stroking her yesterday, it was so therapeutic.

I was worried she might be clingy or needy or be too full on in some other way but she's a lovely balance of affectionate, playful and independent. You're clearly getting along excellently
Glad to hear your anxiety has subsided, I think it was just a case of getting used to having her around.
I cried for the first week we had Radar
When the Swansea Six that I mentioned up thread first came to live with me they use to climb up my legs when they could see me preparing food for them on the work top. I had to wear really tough jeans for weeks or my legs would have been permanently punctured!Kittens are incredibly full on, even slightly older well socialised ones.
They go through phases of hunting your feet, and then there's the well documented lurking at the end of the bed and wiggling their bum then pouncing on your head at 5am in the morning phase that typically occurs between 5 to 9 months old and requires a Strategy (covers over your head and don't react) to deal with while you end up sleep deprived.
