Your daily cat and kitten news

Had a chat over the phone this afternoon - now have an appointment tomorrow morning to see what's up, as there are several potential causes.
However, have found that both offers of cat crack and her flirt pole can distract her.
I did suggest mail gloves ! maybe be for me as I have to get her into the cat carrier and I'm not her favourite person to start with ...
Had an interesting time this morning --- herself went into the carrier after her food dish, without too much hassle.

She was quite well-behaved down at t'vets ; short consultation, examination & weighed then steroid injection and a "modern" anti-flea treatment = £80 ! Vet seemed to think it was mostly flea allergy reaction mixed with stress ...

meowed a bit on the way home & then ignored us for some time.

She's been bought a long tail & pole plus a load of bells in balls ... hopefully they'll distract her !

Glad she's relatively OK and it's something treatable. She will give you the cold shoulder for a while - although she needed the vet, it was still an unpleasant experience for her and therefore you will need an appropriate punishment. ;) . She'll get over it in no time!

Her huff lasted until she wanted her next meal ... !

As cats go, she's quite tiny, so we're on the several small meals a day routine - and as she's a very slow eater, that's another way of keeping her entertained ...

It’s definitely too pink to be blood, and is also very much on the end of the fur, not by her skin!
My Radar had a lot of white on him and was an absolute (adorable) little shit, if it had been on him my assumption would be that he'd scratched me in my sleep and then rubbed his face on my fresh wound :D
I miss that absolute hellion of a cat :D (Cried buckets the day the scab on the last wound he gave me came off)

Caught this cat this afternoon. Was wandering around the GP car park looking lost. Making a lot of noise and was very hungry. Took a while but grabbed him while he was eating some treats I put down. I used my microchip reader and luckily he is chipped. Will call Battersea cats and dogs tomorrow morning and give them the chip number. Hopefully they can access Petrec website and contact the owners to come and pick him up. If not, I'll take him to the vet. Two of my girls aren't happy he is in the flat. Neither is he, tbh. He was feeling very uneasy. But its only for one night. Hopefully, it will be sorted tomorrow

Lovely boy. Hope you can find his humans.

I'd say he looks moderately relaxed, he's got his front paws tucked up in the feline therapist "so tell me about your childhood?" position rather than paws on the floor ready to spring away if need be.
Surveying the situation but not scared.

Handsome bugger, isn't he?

He is making noises and its probably going to get worse when the lights go off for bed. I'll be calling battersea 8 am sharp when their lines open tomorrow.

Bit odd. I called the pet database agency the cat is registered just after 8 am. Now past 11 am and have had no contact from the owners. called them again and they said they left a message with the owners. If I don't hear back from them by 12 this afternoon, I'm going to let him out as he is desperate to leave.
