WTF? Girl in China Run Over and ignored

It didn't fucking well happen you idiot.
:D Think what you like, you crackpot cunt.

Stan, please provide evidence for your assertion.

@ JimW - Can you access Sina Weibo, and give us a summary of what's been said / deduced etc there? Any recent developments?

Main theme has been what has led the country to such a moral decline, though not really followed it on Weibo. Did see one thing where apparently some were even accusing Mrs Chen of doing it for the money and there was of course strong condemnation of those accusations. Also some discussion of whether giving her a cash reward added to the general problem of money being the last value left, which was a bit more interesting.

I was one of the first on the scene of the death of child here back when I worked out in the countryside ten years ago. The kids all walked home from school along the roadside, which was narrow because this place was mountainous. A big truck hit a four-year-old and never stopped, probably didn't realise what he'd done. It was about an hour to the nearest hospital too, but the girl was dead at the scene anyway.

Look at the video. Why was it being recorded? What was going to happen there?

Why does it all go blurred at critical moments?

Read the story.

I remember being first on scene where a van had hit a truck. The van had squashed the driver and passenger who was already dead. I went to a local house to call 999, they had already done it hearing the crash but they would not come out. As it happenned there was nothing I could do and it turned out that this was an accident blackspot, the people in the nearby house had gotten so fed up with tending dead and dying people outside their house that they did not even come out anymore.

Were you offered a reward?

One of the first at the scene? The other children?

Yes there is. CCTV, witness statements, arrests made etc etc.

OK so let's assume there's no evidence either way - why are you sure it didn't happen?
if it did happen, it was an inside job and the way the child goes down it's clear that it was a demolition job - there was no actual truck or minivan involved. the chinese let it happen

Nice one Jim - please keep us posted re any further news etc. Thanks

Who are the witnesses? Are they the people that didn't do anything?

Why was this CCTV camera watching nothing?

Why was the footage published on the web?

Why does it go blurred at critical moments?

Stanley I am not sure why you are so certain this did not happen.

Are you aware that something like 3,000 people a year die on the roads of Britain and we have a much better safety record than China afaict.

It is almost certain that kids have gotten runover in China on a weekly basis.
Why the idea that this one is fake?

There's CCTV cameras everywhere, they put up footage of all sorts. Here's crash of the week from the Beijing traffic cams: http://v.youku.com/v_show/id_XMjAxNjg1NjEy.html The first video I posted wasn't blurred. The witnesses are various people in and around the area before and after the incident, the girl's mother, and so on. Won't be responding any more unless you've got a more sensible point to make lad, you're seriously off-base here.

Here's a CCTV feed of Oxford Street. Nothing is happening.

http://www.westlondoncollege.com/student_life/london_webcam.php

But, that is Oxford Street. Not some dead end street in a small town in China.

I cannot see any viable reason why this apparent incident was caught on CCTV. I cannot see any reason why the inncident was apparently ignored yet there are witnesses prepared to say what happened. I cannot see any reason why the footage has been published on the web ahead of any trial.

News made from nothing. Propoganda.

There was a story not so long ago about a latino guy who was stabbed in the early hours of the morning in New York and was bleeding for hours on the pavement and people walked passed or over him while he lie in agony. One person apparently even stopped to take pictures of this poor helpless guy dying.

This kind of shit is endemic in any city if you ask me.

What a peculiar attitude, Stanley Edwards.

I'm finding it fairly entertaining.

She did but is still on life support and may have permanent brain damage.

Fair play to the woman for rescuing her from further injury but they've obviously not been educated about not moving someone who's been repeatedly run over :(
